Crimes at Fort Ord California 81-92
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am looking for a freelancer who can perform research into crimes at Fort Ord California and surrounding areas of Seaside, Monterey, Marina, Pacific Grove, Salinas, California involving military service members, from 1981 to 1992 for a personal interest project.
My main focus is on finding newspaper archives, both civilian and military publications but if other resources are available, I am open to discuss the feasibility and terms of the research. The goal of this project is to create an in-depth report about the type of crimes involving military service members station at or assigned to us army post Fort Ord. These crimes include but are not limited to murders, child abuse, suicides, rape, children murders or deaths which, occurred in that time period. The research should also include analysis of the causes of these criminal activities.
The results of this research will be used to enrich my understanding of criminal activities in the area at the time and potentially develop a better appreciation of what resources and strategies society should take to prevent or reduce such activities.
