Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Budget: $15 – $25 AUD
We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with senior-level experience to assist me with financial reporting and analysis. The CFO will be responsible for managing the financial actions of the company and help direct the overall strategy and policy. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations, reporting, and planning of the company. You will also monitor cash flow, analyse financial strengths and weaknesses, and come up with strategic plans to improve the company’s success.
Tasks include:
- Conducting financial reporting and analysis to assess the financial performance of the company
- Providing insights and recommendations based on the analysis to drive strategic decision-making
- Ensuring compliance with internal control and regulatory requirements
- Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize financial planning and forecasting
- Managing financial risks and identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
-Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team
- Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting
-Prepare reliable and current forecasting reports
Ideal skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance or Economics
· CFO Experience
· High level of written and oral communication skills
· Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and financial reporting software
- Extensive experience in financial reporting and analysis at a senior level
- Strong knowledge of financial planning and forecasting
- Familiarity with internal control and compliance procedures
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in financial management software and tools
- Strong communication and leadership abilities to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
