Project Description:
1. New market expansion
○ Identify new markets to launch in
○ Work cross-functionally to ensure clarity on the tax, regulatory, and commercial
landscape of potential new markets
○ Identify, develop, and sign potential partners to operate in new territories
2. Partner Management
○ Manage and nurture key commercial relationships with existing local partners to
ensure the smooth, uninterrupted delivery of our services to consumers
○ Develop strategies to reduce our partner costs as a percentage of GGR
○ Leverage partners to mitigate commercial risks in existing markets
○ Renew and or replace partners as contracts come up for expiration
3. New Products and Distribution Channels
○ Identify new channels, product areas, and business models to augment
our existing proposition to partners and consumers
○ Build relationships with third parties (i.e., Telco’s banks, and agents) to test new
products and distribution.
4. Leverage AI to drive speed, quality, and efficiency
○ Monitor emerging AI capabilities to ensure continuous improvement in speed,
accuracy and scalability across commercial workflows
○ Drive AI-driven automation where appropriate
○ Inject urgency and speed into the function through the use of AI
5. Cross-Functional Alignment
○ Build collaborative cross-functional relationships across the business (i.e.,
marketing, ops, payments, regulatory, and public affairs, etc,) to ensure the right
commercial outcomes
Key Skills and Competencies:
● Commercial Savvy: Ability to understand the commercial and financial implications of
decisions, the capacity to negotiate hard but constructively with potential partners to
deliver win-win outcomes
● Negotiation skills: Demonstrates strong deal-making acumen, with the ability to frame,
defend and adapt commercial positions in high-stakes negotiations
● Structured Problem-Solving: Ability to break down complex challenges (e.g.,
regulatory barriers, partner conflicts) into manageable components, using consulting
frameworks like MECE or hypothesis-driven analysis.
● Data-Driven Decision-Making: Proficiency in synthesising quantitative and qualitative
data to inform decision-making.
● Relationship Building: Ability to build strong, trusted, professional relationships with
partners and other stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
● Strategic Communication: Clear and concise verbal and written skills for crafting
compelling pitches, presenting to internal and external audiences, and negotiations.
● AI skills: Able to champion a culture of innovation by demystifying AI for non-technical
stakeholders and embedding it into day-to-day commercial thinking

● French speaking: strong preference for candidates with business-level French

Experience:
○ 5–8+ years in strategy consulting (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, and Bain) with exposure
to growth strategy, commercial due diligence, or partnership models.
○ 2–3+ years in business development or partnerships, ideally with some exposure
to betting, gaming, or regulated industries (e.g., fintech, healthcare).
