Position Overview
As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and
implementation of our EMR system. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams,
including software developers, healthcare professionals, and clients, to gather and analyze
business requirements, define project scope, and ensure successful end-to-end integration
of our software and website components. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in
working with reporting tools and a proven track record of delivering solutions that meet the
needs of the client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize
business requirements for the EMR system, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
and client needs.
- System Integration: Lead efforts to facilitate end-to-end integration of our software and
website components, working closely with technical teams to ensure seamless functionality.
- Reporting Solutions: Utilize your expertise in reporting tools to design and implement
robust reporting solutions, enabling healthcare professionals to access critical patient data
efficiently.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the EMR
system, making recommendations for enhancements to increase efficiency and
effectiveness.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation, including user stories, use cases,
and workflow diagrams, to support the development process.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases and ensure the
software meets quality standards.
- Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients, conduct regular meetings, and
provide updates on project progress, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Data Analysis: Analyze healthcare data to extract meaningful insights and provide
data-driven recommendations for system improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field (Master's
degree preferred).
- Strong knowledge of reporting tools and their application in healthcare settings.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in project management and documentation tools.
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the healthcare or EMR industry is a plus.
