Job ID: 37929601

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I'm looking for a skilled professional to create a superior stock screening financial model. It revolves around the identification of investment potentials, the evaluation of stock for trading, and to keep track of stock performance.
Create a spreadsheet that will allow the user—a savvy investor in the stock market-to screen stocks based on simple financial models. In creating those models you must use earnings per share and sales per share as the key underlying variables. Furthermore, you must build the spreadsheet so that the user can enter information for up to a minimum of 5 stocks. You should populate the input section of the spreadsheet with data from at least five stocks from a sector of your choosing.

Ideal Skills and Experiences:
- Extensive financial modelling experience
- Knowledge of stock markets and investment
- Familiarity with current market trends

Application Requirements:
- To stand out as a candidate, detailed past work within this specific field is necessary. Show me practical examples where you developed similar financial models.

Minimum requirements:

1) A dashboard that allows the user to...

b

...enter company-specific information collected from Yahoo Finance or an adequate alternative source.

...enter the 5-year Treasury yield for use in the CAPM.

...See key output metrics for the companies, including 1) % undervaluation, 2) undervaluation rank orderings, and 3) implied growth rates

d)

...see the implied price multiples for the industry

e) ...see the probability distribution for each stock based on simulations you run

i) Note that the distribution chart should also mark the current stock price as a reference point. ii) Random factors should include both beta, the analyst-forecasted growth rate, and the expected
industry P/E ratio.

2) Support work

a) Well-structured and well-labeled worksheets and VBA code to support your presentation

Questions to consider and take into account for the finished project

Is the spreadsheet's broad purpose immediately obvious?
Is the output of the spreadsheet AND its meaning clear to the user?
Is your analysis correct?
Are there any hard-coded numbers (other than numbers that would never change in the formulas?
Can the user (or developer for some of the assumptions) change each assumption and see that the model adequately reflects changes to each assumption?
Are all cells and the VBA code labeled appropriately?
Does the spreadsheet look aesthetically pleasing? (Yes, colors matter!)
Is there evidence of sloppiness in the presentation?
Have you gone beyond the minimum to add value to the analysis?
