Assignment

You will formulate a project management plan for an imagined project of your own devising with a maximum budget of 5 million Swedish kronor. You will present a summary project plan in the form of a 7-minute presentation supported by 9 power point slides presented at the compulsory seminar. The written submission will be in a word document. On each page you will paste in one PowerPoint slide and then provide a commentary (maximum 200 words) explaining and justifying the decisions you have taken for that component with reference to the literature. Appended to these nine pages will be a consolidated list of references and any more detailed workings you wish to show (eg budget calculations, time line calculations etc).
The nine project components will be as follows:
- (1) current situation and needs analysis,
- (2) objectives (with indicators),
- (3) time and activity plan,
(4) budget,
(5) stakeholder analysis, (6) risk analysis,
(7) project organization, (8) communication plan, (9) mode of evaluation.
