I am looking for a furniture regulatory specialist who can assist me in bringing my chair to market.
Specific regulations:
- Safety regulations: I need help ensuring that my chair meets all safety standards and regulations for a gamer chair for home use. Initial model released would have no electronics. Target market is California USA. I will need specific regulations cited by referenced standard, subsections of standard called out and a regulatory plan created for multiple stages of release. Product for home use without electronics, product for home use with electronics, product for office use no electronics, product for office use with electronics, further details provided on request. Will need you to contact companies that provide certifications contacted and budgets created for each phase etc... Will need to identify regulations that are voluntary as well as those that are potentially doable in house versus required 3rd party certifications.
Design:
- I have an existing design for the chair, but it requires revisions.
Project stage:
- My project is currently in the pre-production stage.
Ideal skills and experience:
- Knowledge of furniture safety regulations and standards
- Experience in revising and improving chair designs
- Expertise in navigating the production stage of bringing a chair to market
