Structural Beam Design for Loft

I already have full planning drawings for a dormer loft conversion on my detached house and now need the structural side finalised. The job is to analyse the existing plans, size the steel beams required, and produce clear calculations and layout details that Building Control can sign off without delay.

Please base the design on steel throughout, taking into account current UK regulations and typical loadings for a dormer configuration. I will supply PDFs and DWGs of the architectural drawings as soon as we start; you simply tell me if any extra measurements are needed from site.

Deliverables must include:
• Beam schedules with exact sizes, grades and connection notes
• Structural calculations in a format acceptable to Building Control
• Annotated drawings (PDF + DWG) showing beam positions, bearings, and any trimming details

I am hoping for a quick turnaround so the build team can order the steels. Let me know your estimated timeframe and any clarifications you need.
