Residential Combined Drainage Design
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I need a fully compliant combined surface-and-foul water drainage design to support a UK residential planning application. The scheme must integrate sustainability features, demonstrate sound flood-risk management and require only minimal maintenance once built.
Site information, architectural layouts and levels will be provided in DWG/PDF. You will turn these into a complete drainage strategy that satisfies local authority SuDS guidance, Building Regulations Part H and Sewers for Adoption, ready for submission with the planning pack.
Please base hydraulic calculations on industry-standard software such as MicroDrainage or Causeway Flow and size all pipes, manholes, attenuation, flow-control devices and permeable surfaces accordingly. Where infiltration is feasible, allow for soakaways or permeable paving; otherwise size attenuation tanks and outfalls to meet the green-field runoff rate and 1 in 100 year +40 % climate change events.
Deliverables
• Drainage layout drawings (CAD + PDF)
• Hydraulic calculation report and MicroDrainage/Flow files
• SuDS & flood-risk statement highlighting sustainability measures
• Maintenance schedule showing minimal long-term upkeep
• Design compliance notes for planners and building control
