HRB Fire Regs Submission
Budget: £750 – £1,500 GBP
I need a qualified fire engineer to assemble and sign-off the complete Building Regulations submission for a residential High-Risk Building in the UK. The core task is to replace several existing fire doors with a vertical fire curtain and secure Building Control approval for that change.
What I already have:
• Existing floor plans in CAD.
• Basic product data for the vertical fire curtain I am considering.
What I need from you:
• A detailed Fire Safety Strategy that clearly justifies the switch from doors to a vertical curtain and references Approved Document B, BS 9991 and BS 8524.
• Means-of-escape analysis and any supporting calculations, drawings or zone diagrams needed to demonstrate compliance.
• The formal “Application to Building Control for changing fire doors to a fire curtain,” ready for submission, including all required forms, notes and specifications.
Please allow for one revision after Building Control feedback and be available to answer technical queries until their sign-off. Experience with HRB projects and recent UK regs is essential; membership of the IFE or similar chartered status is preferred.
