Archicad LOD-300 BIM Model
Budget: €750 – €1,500 EUR
I have a fully registered point-cloud survey of several large sheds and ancillary buildings—about a hundred rooms in total—and I now need that cloud translated into a clean, well-structured BIM model in Archicad at LOD 300.
Scope of work
• Model every space directly from the point-cloud, matching wall thicknesses and room heights with survey accuracy. (or from the .dwg files)
• Include doors, windows, and floor/ceiling finishes at LOD 300. For doors and windows, basic shapes with correct dimensions will suffice; no hardware detailing is required.
• Structure the file by material-based layers and keep stories, views, and composites tidy so engineers and other disciplines can pick it up without re-work.
• Native Archicad (.pln) delivery is mandatory; an IFC export that coordinates cleanly with the same layer logic is a welcome bonus.
Acceptance criteria
1. Complete, editable geometry for all ±100 rooms at LOD 300.
2. Wall thicknesses and room heights demonstrably aligned with the point-cloud.
3. Layer naming and organization follow Archicad best practice, sorted by material type.
I will provide the point-cloud and any existing drawings at kickoff and remain available for quick clarifications as you progress. If you are confident working from scan data straight into Archicad and can keep a disciplined file structure, I look forward to collaborating with you.
