eQUEST Residential Energy Model

Job ID: 39965469

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I’m ready to have a full eQUEST model prepared for a single-family residential project that comes in at under 2,000 sq ft. The sole aim is to run a detailed energy-efficiency analysis, so every construction assembly, schedule, and system entered into the file should support that end goal rather than general load calculations or utility cost studies.

I will supply floor plans, elevations, and any mechanical notes I already have. From there I need you to:

• Build the geometry and zoning accurately in eQUEST (DOE-2.2).
• Assign realistic envelope properties, internal gains, and operating schedules that match the drawings and the regional climate data I’ll provide.
• Calibrate the model to reflect typical residential operation so the efficiency outputs are trustworthy.
• Generate summary reports that highlight annual energy use, end-use splits, and any red-flag inefficiencies.

Deliverables are the native project files (.pd2, .inp), a PDF of the simulation reports, and a short memo—two pages is fine—calling out the biggest opportunities for performance improvement revealed by the model.

I’ll consider the work complete once the file opens cleanly on my side, reproduces your results, and the memo clearly explains the key findings in plain language. If questions come up during the run, I remain available for clarifications so the model stays on track.
