we are a liquid waste company located in sunshine north we have had our certificate of occupancy for a 5 years plus just recently had the local council pay a random visit which they have picked up on several things listed below.
11. Re-construct the external walls required to achieve an FRL of 60/60/60 in accordance with the approved , ( we have installed fire rated rock wool panels instead of fire rated plaster board)
building permit documents.
12. Re-construct the stairs serving the first floor office / breakout containing maximum 18 risers in lieu of 22.
13. Re-construct the stairs serving the first floor office / breakout containing the prescribed accessible
features i.e. tactile ground surface indicators (TGSI), handrails with compliant terminations or contrasting
nosing strips.
require a certified building engineer to look at works and have them signed off.
