Wet Stamp for Spiral Staircase
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
My hand-built spiral staircase is already fully installed, and before the county inspector comes through I need a licensed structural engineer to review it and issue a wet-stamped letter or set of drawings confirming that the build meets code. I do not have original blueprints or calculations, so you would need to work from on-site measurements, photographs, and any other information you require from me or the fabricator.
Ideally you will:
• Visit (or guide me through gathering) the critical dimensions, material specs, and connection details.
• Run the necessary load, deflection, and connection checks.
• Produce a signed and wet-stamped document acceptable to my local building department, including any supporting calcs they typically request.
Let me know your state of licensure, turnaround time, and anything you’ll need in advance so we can get this staircase cleared without delays.
