Urgent Studio Floor Assessment

I’m converting a first-floor commercial unit into a compact fitness studio with three to four lightweight racks and several treadmills. At peak use the total imposed load will exceed 2,000 lbs but spread over each area, and I must be certain the existing floor system can safely carry it.
What I can supply right away is a full set of previous structural assessments for the building floor from the steel diagram we have recorded. Using those documents—and any additional site data you feel is required—I need a licensed structural engineer to verify the floor’s capacity, reference relevant code criteria, and spell out any reinforcement that might be necessary.
Speed is critical: an initial opinion within a couple of days and a stamped letter or concise report shortly after would keep my project on schedule. If not a rough idea of capacity and probably in 24 hours.

• Supporting calculations or sketches that justify the conclusion
• Clear recommendation for acceptance or required upgrades, written for my landlord and insurer
