I'm seeking a structural engineer for a timber frame house project. The plans are already drafted, agreed and in the process of being built, I just need some specialized structural consultancy for specific works.
Key areas of focus include:
- Connection details, specifically timber joinery for beam to column connections.
- Detailing for ceiling/flooring level at 1st floor.
- LVL detail at single storey opening.
Ideal Skills & Experience:
- Expertise in timber frame structures.
- Strong knowledge in structural connection details, particularly timber joinery.
- Experience with residential construction and structural consultancy.
- Ability to review and provide input on existing plans.
