Swimming Dock Plans
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I need a professional to assess the structural integrity of a small swimming dock and prepare plans with an engineer's seal for submission to the county building department for a permit. You will be able to use as a basis the plans from the fabricator. The fabricator has 15 years of experience in building docks, so there are no questions about the soundness of the construction. It's just a local requirement of Duke Energy that docks have the lake be signed off by an engineer. Straight forward job. Attached are the drawings from the fabricator as well as sample plans which would ultimately be submitted to the county building department.
Key requirements:
- Provide engineer drawings under seal of the proposed dock.

- Background in civil engineering or marine construction
- Experience with dock and pier inspections
