BC Licensed Custom Deck Engineer
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I have an existing wooden deck in Campbell River, BC that I want to expand by almost 400 sq ft. Because the present structure was built years ago, I need it re-engineered along with the new addition so everything meets current BC Building Code and City permitting requirements.
What I need from you
• Complete structural design for the enlarged wooden deck, integrating the old and new sections seamlessly.
• Signed and sealed drawings, calculations, and any supporting documents required for permit submission in British Columbia.
• Coordination notes or brief responses should the municipal reviewers ask for clarifications after submission.
You must hold valid credentials to practise engineering in BC and be able to stamp the final documents. Experience with wood framing, coastal moisture considerations, and municipal approvals in Vancouver Island communities will be a plus.
