Condominium Gas Piping Capacity Calculation - 18/12/2025 15:58 EST

Job ID: 40076034

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

I need a California licensed professional engineer to run a full capacity analysis on the existing natural-gas piping in my condominium. The lines currently feed kitchen appliances only, so the study can focus on cooking loads rather than heating or domestic hot-water demand.

Your task is to verify whether the present pipe sizes, lengths and meter pressure are adequate for the connected appliances, accounting for simultaneous use and allowable pressure drop. Please base the work on the applicable North American codes (NFPA 54, IFGC or local equivalent) and reference any sizing tables or software you use.

Deliverables
• Signed and sealed calculation report (PDF) showing input data, step-by-step sizing, pressure-loss results and code references
• A concise conclusion stating if the existing system is compliant and, if not, clear recommendations for resizing or rerouting

I will supply the current gas line schematic, appliance BTU ratings and meter information as soon as we start.
