Arizona PE Stamp for Custom Home
Budget: $10 – $3,000 USD
I’m finalizing permit documents for a new single-family custom home in Arizona and need a state-licensed Professional Engineer to create, calculate, and seal the engineering sheets. The architectural plans are already complete; what I’m missing is the engineering package—especially the slab-on-grade foundation, and framing packages which is the top priority.
Foundation
The plans call for a slab-on-grade system Post Tension for Crack Control. I need full calculations, footing/thickened-edge detailing, anchor bolt layout, and any post-tension or reinforcement notes required by the local jurisdiction. Your PE stamp must be valid in Arizona.
Framing, Structural, MEP, and Energy Code
After the foundation is resolved, I also need the remaining structural elements (walls, lateral bracing, roof framing) verified, plus MEP load calculations and layouts to match the architectural set. Finally, I need an IECC 2021 compliance summary (REScheck is acceptable) for climate zone 2B so the city’s energy reviewer can clear the file.
Deliverables
• Arizona-sealed foundation drawings and calculations (PDF and DWG)
• Sealed structural summary with any mark-ups to my architectural sheets
• Sealed mechanical, electrical, and plumbing load calcs and schedules
• Energy code compliance report
• One round of revisions after plan-checker comments
