Wooden Pergola Calculations & Drawings
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m building a 5.0 × 5.3 m eucalyptus-wood pergola and I need a complete structural package that satisfies the Saudi Building Code. The scope is twofold:
1. A calculation sheet that proves the capacity of every member and, in particular, the bolted connections. Please work to the relevant wood-design chapters of the Saudi Code, showing load assumptions, combinations, section checks, and bolt group calculations. A clear, well-structured PDF or spreadsheet is fine as long as all formulas are visible.
2. Fully detailed shop drawings. I need plans, elevations, sections, and enlarged connection details ready for fabrication, including bolt sizes and embedment depths. Decorative beams are part of the aesthetic, so their profile and spacing must appear on the drawings. Use a standard CAD format (DWG/DXF) plus a plotted PDF set.
Accuracy and code compliance come first; concise, builder-ready drawings are the acceptance criterion. If you normally run Timber Design module in SAP2000, STAAD, or similar, feel free—just reference the software in the calc sheet.
Let me know your expected turnaround and any clarifications you need before starting.
