Washington Home Structural Engineering
Budget: $50 – $0 USD
I’m ready to move from architectural concepts to permit-ready documents for a new, wood-framed single-family home in Washington State. To do that, I need a structural engineer who is currently licensed in WA and familiar with the 2021 IBC/IRC as adopted locally.
You’ll start with my near-complete architectural drawings, design all gravity and lateral systems for a wood structure, and package the engineering so the county reviewer can approve it on the first pass. Western Washington, Clallam County, wind, snow, and seismic (typically Cat. D) loads must be addressed, along with any portal-frame or narrow-wall situations the plan requires.
Deliverables
• Signed and stamped structural drawings (PDF + CAD)
• Calculations book covering gravity, wind, and seismic analyses
• Any connection schedules, shear-wall nailing tables, and hold-down specs needed for construction and inspection
If you’ve completed similar wood-frame homes in the state, especially within the last two years, please share a sample plan set and outline your typical turnaround time. I’m looking forward to collaborating and getting this home out of the ground soon.
