I am developing an industrial-grade automobile vehicle testing station and need a structural engineer who specialises in Pre-Engineered Buildings to take the project from concept to issue-for-construction drawings. The building must comfortably house multiple inspection bays while also incorporating office space and a customer waiting area in one efficient steel envelope.
Your scope will cover the complete structural design of the PEB: member sizing, connection detailing, foundation load schedules, and any coordination notes that MEP or architectural partners will require. Optimising steel tonnage without sacrificing performance is essential, and all calculations must satisfy the relevant local codes for industrial facilities.
