Traditional 3-Bed Conversion Design
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I own an L-shaped, 170 m² steel-frame structure and need it re-imagined as a cosy three-bedroom residence. The brief is straightforward:
• Layout must comfortably fit three bedrooms, common living areas and service rooms within the existing 170 m² footprint.
• Overall aesthetic is Traditional—think pitched roof lines, classic proportions and warm materials—yet adapted to the steel frame.
• A feature fireplace is essential in the main living space and should feel like an original element rather than an add-on.
• All drawings must be suitable for planning submission and coordination with a structural engineer: floor plans, elevations, sections and a basic material schedule.
• 3D visuals are welcome to help me fine-tune finishes and furniture placement.
I will supply site photos, frame dimensions and any surveys on hand. Please show previous residential conversions (especially steel or barn-style projects) so I can gauge fit. The agreed package will be the final concept set ready for my local engineer and builder to move forward with.
