Traditional Ablution Facility Design
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I need a detailed floor plan and five elevations of a traditional-style ablution facility for my EGD PAT. The design should prominently feature brick as a material.
Requirements:
- Traditional design aesthetic
- Scaled at 1:100
- Brick as the highlighted material
Ideal skills and experience:
- Proficiency in architectural design
- Experience with traditional architectural styles
- Ability to create accurate and detailed drawings at a 1:100 scale
- Knowledge of brick construction and design integration
1️⃣ Drawing Standards
Units: Work in millimetres, full scale (1:1).
External wall thickness: 220 mm
Internal wall thickness: 110 mm
Doors: Draw with swing arc showing opening direction (standard 813 mm wide, disabled 900 mm wide).
Windows: Correct CAD window symbol (two lines with frame).
Fixtures: Toilets, basins, showers, sinks must be drawn to scale.
Ramp width: 1 200 mm, slope 1:12, landing 1 200 × 1 200 mm.
2️⃣ Floor Plan Must Include
Room names and floor finish hatching.
Fixture codes (T1 = Toilet, B1 = Basin, SK1 = Sink, etc.).
Electrical symbols: lights, plugs, switches, with dashed wiring lines.
Handicap turning circle (1 500 mm radius) in each disabled toilet.
Gas geyser location + 1 000 mm safety clearance.
Cutting plane (A–A) for sectional view.
North arrow, scale (1:100), and general notes.
3️⃣ Elevations
Four sides (North, South, East, West).
Show FFL (Finished Floor Level) and NGL (Natural Ground Level).
Include all doors, windows, roof slope, materials, geyser if visible.
4️⃣ Sectional Elevation
Cut through along A–A from the floor plan.
Show foundation, slab, walls, roof.
Include either a sectional door or window.
Label FFL, NGL, DPC.
Material hatching for each building part.
5️⃣ Site Plan
Show building position.
10 standard parking bays (2 500 × 5 000 mm each).
2 disabled bays (3 500 × 5 000 mm each with wheelchair symbol).
Sewerage + drainage layout connected to chosen alternative system.
Gas geyser + safety zone.
North arrow, notes.
Optional landscaping for marks.
6️⃣ Perspective Drawing
Two vanishing points labelled.
Matches proportions from floor plan.
No 3D render — must be 2D CAD or hand-drawn perspective.
7️⃣ Presentation
All on A3 sheets.
Civil border and title block on each sheet.
Title block must have:
Project title
Drawing title
Scale
Date
Drawn by
Checked by
Drawing number
Company name (fake is fine)
Correct line weights (thick outlines, thin detail).
Neat hatching.
