Title 24 ADU Calculations
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I’m converting an existing garage into a fully-permitted ADU that will serve as a permanent living space and I need a complete Title 24 energy compliance package to submit with my building plans. You’ll receive the architectural set in PDF and DWG, including framing details, window and door schedule, and the proposed mechanical layout. From that, I expect a thorough performance analysis that satisfies current California Energy Code requirements for a newly conditioned space.
The deliverable must be ready for plan-check: CF-1R, all mandatory measures, any supporting worksheets, plus the signed documents in both PDF and CALCERTS-ready format. If you spot easier pathways—prescriptive vs. performance—or see ways to tighten the envelope, feel free to suggest them before finalizing the report.
Please show past work on comparable garage-to-ADU or small residential projects so I can see that you’re comfortable with Title 24 software (EnergyPro, CBECC-Res, or equivalent) and know the usual pitfalls jurisdictions flag. Turnaround time is important; once I hand over the plans I’d like the calculations back within a week, including one round of minor revisions if the plan checker requests anything.
