Structural Engineer for Alaskan Home
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
I am building my own ICF Home in Alaska.
I have drawings and calculations-- however I need these plans to be modified and cleaned up to pass inspection for Anchorage Alaska. I have already submitted the plans to the city and have several minor corrections / adjustments that are needed-- I also have a few updates/changes I would like considered.
I need this work completed ASAP so I can get my foundation in and get my home closed up before winter.
Anchorage has specific requirements regarding insulation, snow load, seismic, etc.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Professional engineering degree
- Proven experience in residential structural design, particularly in Alaska
- Strong understanding of local building codes and environmental conditions
- Excellent communication skills
