Steel Structure Design Analysis
Budget: $14 – $100 NZD
My building project is still in the design phase and I need a qualified steel-structure specialist to carry out a complete structural analysis. You will be asked to verify loads, size the members, check lateral stability and produce a clear calculation report that I can forward to the architect and fabricator.
I already have preliminary drawings, so your main focus is the engineering verification, not blueprint creation or material scheduling—though the ability to advise on those later would be a plus. Please apply the latest national and international codes relevant to steel (e.g., AISC, Eurocode or IS as appropriate) and use professional software such as STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS or an equivalent you are comfortable with.
Deliverables
• Comprehensive calculation booklet (PDF)
• Annotated framing plan showing critical forces and member sizes (DWG/PDF)
• Brief summary outlining any design optimisations or red-flags discovered
