UK Residential Structural Engineer
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I handle a steady stream of UK-based residential jobs—mainly house extensions, wall removals, loft conversions and the occasional chimney removal—and I’m searching for a dependable structural engineer to take on this work long-term. Roughly 80 % of the workload follows the same patterns, so efficiency and consistency are essential.
Every project is modelled and documented with TEDDS, AutoCAD and, most heavily, Tekla Structural Designer. Your past UK projects should reflect the same focus areas—house extensions, wall removals and loft conversions—and you must already be comfortable using Tekla for structural analysis, element design and automated calculations/reports.
Here’s how we’ll work together:
• You quote a fixed fee for each assignment before we start.
• I supply drawings, survey notes and my design brief.
• You return complete calcs, annotated GA/RC drawings and a neatly compiled Tekla/TEDDS report pack ready for Building Control.
• We meet online to review comments and you revise if required, aiming for first-time approval.

2. A brief outline of your workflow from initial brief to final deliverables.
3. Your availability for review meetings during UK working hours.
