Residential Structural Design
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I need a comprehensive structural design for a residential building.
Requirements:
- Design for foundation, framing, and roofing
- Ensure structural integrity and compliance with local codes
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Licensed civil engineer
- Experience in residential structural design
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
Additional notes for your kind understanding:
We in Malaysia would like to build a meditation center and the design will be same as the a modern temple in US. single story bangalow.
At this stage:
1) We want to have a building drawing exactly same as the one in US:
1a - I will provide the measurements, and your architect will draw according to the measurements I gave. It includes floor plan, front view, side view.
b - I will discuss with the my own team whether there is any amendment on size of the building.
c - the architect will do the amendment accordingly. Once it is confirmed, it will be final.
d - The architect's drawing must be the type of drawing that is normally used for submission to the municipal council.
2) After the design part is completed. We need a detailed engineering drawing for the building:
2a - We will do piling work, and all necessary building requirement as per the engineer's guideline. Which this plan can be used to submit to the municipal council (means we do not have to redo the drawing in the future for submission purpose).
The engineering drawing is crucial because the team will need it to know the cost of the building and to get funds.
We also request to have the CAD file of the design and engineering drawing.
Above are our requests, if your can do these, we would appreciate if you can quote us the price of the work/services, and also to state the time frame needed for the work, and the payment stages.
