Residential Structural Analysis & Certification
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I am in the early planning stage of a new residential building and need a licensed structural engineer to carry the project from concept through final approval. Right now the priority is a complete structural analysis and design package—calcs, load paths, beam/column schedules, foundation details, and clear, dimensioned drawings that a local building department will readily accept.
Your work must align with the relevant residential code for my jurisdiction and clearly specify materials, member sizes, and connection details so the contractor can price and build with confidence. When construction begins I will also ask you to perform onsite inspections (virtual or in-person, depending on distance) and issue the formal certification my municipality requires for occupancy.
Deliverables
• Stamped structural calculations (PDF)
• Fully detailed structural drawings (CAD + PDF)
• Code-compliance summary and any notes the plan reviewer may need
• Post-construction inspection report and final certification letter
