Residential Plan Review
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a compact residential floor plan with matching elevations ready for a final sanity check before I send it to the engineer. I’m looking for a seasoned architect or designer who can quickly review the drawings and produce a concise, 1- to 2-page critique.
The brief is straightforward: study the overall space utilisation, traffic flow and general buildability, then spell out any obvious functional or structural concerns you see. I’m particularly interested in how the living room could perform better—circulation, furniture layout, sight-lines, daylighting, or any other improvement you spot.
You’ll receive the full PDF set as soon as we start. No redrawing is required; clear written notes (Word or PDF) or a lightly marked-up plan are fine. Comment freely on wall placements, window sizing, roof intersections or anything else that jumps out from an experienced eye.
Deliverable: a short report that (1) calls out design strengths and weaknesses, (2) highlights at least three actionable ideas for the living room, and (3) flags any structural or functional red flags across the plan. A two-day turnaround is ideal.
