Permit Plans for Commercial Metal Building
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a complete, permit-ready drawing package that clearly illustrates every aspect of a new metal building on my commercial lot. The plans must satisfy local code reviewers the first time, so accuracy and professional presentation are essential.
Exterior scope
• Site plan showing the building footprint, parking areas, landscape design elements, and visible utility connections tying into existing services.
Interior scope
• Detailed floor plan with all rooms and partitions called out.
• Placement of key furniture and equipment so reviewers understand intended use and clearances.
Utilities
Electrical, plumbing, and HVAC runs should appear on their respective sheets and be coordinated so there are no conflicts with the structural elements of the metal building.
Deliverables
1. PDF set ready for submission, including cover sheet, code data, site plan, floor plan, reflected ceiling (if needed), and separate MEP sheets.
2. Source files (DWG or Revit preferred) so I can make minor future edits if the city requests revisions.
3. A brief designer’s summary explaining any assumptions made and listing the local codes followed.
I will supply the property survey and the manufacturer’s metal-building specs as soon as we start; please base structural notes on that data. Let me know your lead time and any questions you have so we can get this permit moving quickly.
