OSHA-Compliant Stair & Rail Design

Job ID: 39890056

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

I need a licensed structural engineer to design a short run of commercial access stairs (rise under 10 ft) cast in concrete and matched with a steel handrail system. The package must satisfy the latest OSHA 29 CFR 1910 Subpart D requirements, as well as any local building codes referenced in the contract documents. Including construction submittals.

Here’s what I will provide once we start: site measurements, load criteria, architectural constraints and any existing drawings. Your role is to review those inputs, confirm code pathways, and return a complete, signed-and-sealed design set ready for permitting and fabrication. This includes plans, sections, connection details, load calculations and a written compliance statement.

Please work in the CAD platform of your choice (DWG preferred) and deliver both editable source files and a stamped PDF sheet set. If you have questions about material specs or anchorage to the concrete slab, let’s clarify early so the final design flows smoothly through approval and installation.
