Modern Tiny Home Floor Plan
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm seeking a skilled designer to create two versions of a modern tiny home floor plan for full-time living.
What exists today already is a 12'x20' pool with a cement pad around it. The long length of the pool runs north/south. To the west, the concrete pad extends 4', to the north the pad extends 5', to the east the pad extends 12', to the south the pad also extends 5'. The building will be on the north side of the pool, and will be 35'x17' with the longest side running east/west. The stairs should be on the west side on the outside of the building. The first floor will be a workshop, so should just be open floor plan with a large set of double doors that go out to the pool.
The upper floor will be a 1 bedroom that fits a king bed, a bathroom, closest to the door you enter in from the outdoors, a stackable washer dryer, a small kitchen and living area, possible a spot for a desk and an island or peninsula in the kitchen for a couple stools. I want to maximize the natural light throughout with a nice open floor plan. Also some storage space where appropriate and a walk in closet in the bedroom. I like french doors, so those could be incorporated. Also, in the bathroom there needs to be a modern tub or tub/shower combo under a window. Also possible is a water closet for a toilet for added privacy. Finally a small gas freestanding fireplace in the living area.
The second version would be a single story with the same footprint for living space, but on the east side, a storage space could come out in an L shaped with a maximum depth of 7' and length of 10'. This is a less preferred option.
Ideal candidates should have experience in architectural design, especially in tiny homes, and a strong understanding of modern aesthetics and functional space optimization. Please provide samples of previous work.
