NC Metal Building Redesign & Stamps
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I carefully dismantled a 70 × 130 × 18 ft pre-engineered metal building and now need it re-engineered so I can erect it on a new site here in North Carolina. The new layout keeps the original 70 × 130 ft footprint but pushes the eave height up to 35 ft and incorporates a bridge crane bay. I will supply clear videos of the prior installation along with complete member dimensions, bolt schedules, and connection details captured during disassembly. I also want to incorporate insualted metal panels for the roof and the walls, I can provide all details
What I need from you is a full set of North Carolina–sealed structural drawings and calculations that show:
• revised column, rafter, and bracing design for the 35 ft height
• crane runway beams and supporting framework sized for the load 15 TONS crane
• updated foundation plan appropriate for local soil assumptions (I can arrange a soils report if you specify the parameters)
• erection details that reflect any new splice plates or field welds required by the modifications
• anchor-bolt, hold-down, and connection schedules ready for the fabricator and erector
A North Carolina PE stamp is mandatory; please confirm your license number. When you respond, focus on similar metal building retrofits or crane integrations you have engineered so I can see how your experience aligns with this scope. I am ready to move quickly once I review your credentials and approach.
