We are seeking a highly skilled interior/architectural designer for a 2+2 duplex villa in Chongqing, China. This will be our long-term residence, designed for a family of four (2 adults, 2 children).
Project Facts:
• Type: Duplex villa (2 floors + split level)
• Area: 310 sqm
• Occupants: Husband & wife (40s), son (12), daughter (6) – children board at school, home Fri–Mon
• Budget: RMB 800,000 (~USD 110,000) for interiors
• Existing: CAD structural drawings provided
• Climate: Humid summers, cold winters – floor heating & fresh air system included
Design Goals:
• Style: Italian Minimalism – clean lines, harmonious proportions, natural textures (stone, wood, microcement), warm neutral tones
• Functionality First:
• Optimised weekday (2 adults) / weekend (4 people) layout
• Child-friendly yet adaptable for future
• Storage Excellence: built-in concealed storage, walk-in wardrobes, dedicated storage room
