Complete Chief Architect Permit Plans

Job ID: 39829361

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I already started the house in Chief Architect and I’m about ten-percent in. The file opens, the exterior walls are roughly blocked, but that’s it. I now need a seasoned CA designer to take this skeletal model all the way to a permit-ready drawing set.

Scope
• Bring the attached current .plan file to completion by adding the missing room dimensions and labels as well as accurate door and window placements.
• Develop a full Rustic-Traditional exterior with painted or plastered brick on the elevations so the look remains warm and timeless.
• Draw the entire project on a slab foundation—no basement or crawl space—Slab or Stem Wall.

Final sheets required
1. Title Page
2. Foundation Plan (stem-wall slab)
3. Fully annotated Floor Plan
4. Front & Right Elevations (painted/plastered brick)
5. Rear & Left Elevations
6. Roof Plan
7. Framing Plan
8. Roof Framing Plan

Interior scope
All rooms—kitchen, living, bedrooms, baths, utility, circulation, its basic walls, openings, cabinetry, fixtures. I will redline each production set so you can refine details as we progress.

Exterior scope
Develop the full envelope: Entry Columns, elevations, roof planes, window and door schedules, trim package and other traditional accents. Again, I will review and annotate each submission for quick turnarounds.

Deliverables
• Updated Chief Architect project file (.plan)
• A single, print-ready PDF set that aligns with typical residential permit standards in the U.S. (24"×36" preferred)
• PDF sheets (floor plans, elevations, roof plan, schedules), File ready to print
• Any custom textures or libraries used

I’ll be available to answer any questions so you can focus on drafting. If you work efficiently in Chief Architect to draw a finished plan, this should be a straightforward push to the finish line.
