1.0Details of Assignment
1.1Design an electrical installation for a small Commercial office building unit using the drawing set as a guide
1.2Produce a floor plan diagram for the entire electrical installation
1.3The electrical installation shall show the use of a(n):
1.3.1Electrical service - the size of service for a commercial office building is determined using CEC Rule 8-210 and Table 14. Rule 8-210 (a) and Table 14 are used to calculate the basic load for the building. If the actual installed load is greater than the basic load, the greater of the two loads shall be used to determine the size of service (Rule 8-106 (2)). Rule 8-210 (b) states that the special loads to be installed in the building shall be based on the rating of the equipment installed with any applicable demand factors as permitted by the Code. The total demand load for the building is the sum of calculated or installed basic load plus the special loads.
Determine the AWG size and type of conductors required for entire electrical installation.

2.1All drawings included in the drawing set must have a title block containing the following:
