California CMU Retaining Wall Plans

Job ID: 40162447

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I need engineered construction drawings for a 6-foot-high CMU retaining wall that will run about 70 feet along my rear property line in California. Because I want the wall tight to the boundary, the footing needs only a small interior toe while still satisfying the latest California Building Code.

The onsite soil is a dark-dirt and small-rock mix. Please assume no formal geotech report and size the wall conservatively. I also need integrated drainage—perforated pipe, gravel backfill, and weep holes or an equivalent solution—so the wall stays dry and passes permit review.

I already have plenty of #4 rebar; use it for all horizontal and vertical reinforcement and call out exact counts, spacing, and lap lengths.

Deliverables
• California-licensed engineer’s stamped PDF plans ready for permit submission
• Structural calculations matching the drawings
• CAD or other editable source files
• Detailed rebar schedule showing full use of my #4 stock
• Drainage and backfill specifications

I can respond quickly to site questions so we can move straight to permit approval.
