Arizona PE Structural Calculations

Job ID: 40444177

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

I need a structural engineer who already holds an active Arizona licence and can place an official seal on the work. The project is new-build residential: a 30' × 64' single-story home (about 1,200 sq ft) plus a 24' × 25' two-car garage. Architectural plans are still being finalised, but I will forward preliminary PDFs/CAD files as soon as they are cleaned up.

Your brief is straightforward but critical for permitting:

• Provide complete load calculations for two heavy wood beams (6 × 10 and 6 × 12) that frame the entry porch.
• Prepare a full braced-wall plan for the house and garage, showing panel locations, lengths, hold-downs, anchor schedules and any uplift or shear requirements in line with the current IRC/IBC adopted by Arizona jurisdictions.

Both items must be issued as a stamped structural packet suitable for immediate submission to the county. If you see a need to adjust member sizes or connection details, include those recommendations in the calcs.

I’ll be available for quick turn-around answers while you work, and I’d like to keep iterations to a minimum, so please confirm you can start as soon as the drawings land in your inbox.
