Project Title Sauna Bar Beach Club – Integrated Wellness, Social & Hospitality Destination
Project Overview Design a compact, architecturally refined beach club that combines a high-end bar and kitchen with a full thermal wellness circuit (sauna, steam, ice plunge, cold and warm pools) plus supporting wet areas and amenities. The concept should feel elevated yet relaxed — a seamless indoor–outdoor experience suited to a coastal setting, where guests move easily between social drinking/dining, thermal bathing, and recovery.
Core Program & Spaces
• Bar & Kitchen – Architecturally designed open or semi-open kitchen and bar. – Full commercial kitchen capable of supporting small plates, sharing menus and light dining. – Bar with seating for casual service, cocktail/wine focus, and visual connection to the pool and thermal areas where possible.
• Pool & Thermal Zone – Main pool area (leisure / social swimming). – Warm pool. – Cold pool. – Ice plunge. – Sauna(s). – Steam room. – Clear, logical circuit between heat and cold experiences with space for rest and social interaction.
• Wet Areas & Amenities – Indoor showers. – Outdoor/open-air showers (where climate and privacy allow). – Bathrooms / changing facilities (including accessible provision). – Lockers / storage and towel service points as needed.
Design Intent
• Strong indoor–outdoor connectivity and natural light.
• Material palette and detailing that feel coastal, refined and durable (timber, stone, concrete, natural textures, weather-resistant finishes).
• Privacy and zoning so social bar/kitchen energy does not compromise the quieter thermal experience.
• Efficient, elegant wet-area planning with good drainage, ventilation and hygiene standards.
• Capacity and circulation suitable for a boutique beach club (exact headcount to be refined with client).
Deliverables Expected from Architect Concept design, spatial layout, massing, key elevations/sections, material suggestions, and preliminary coordination notes for MEP (especially wet areas, ventilation for sauna/steam, and kitchen extract).
