Annex Garage Design, Ealing
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I need full architectural drawings for a small annex-garage at the rear of my property in the Ealing Council area. The space will double as a daytime sitting room and general storage, so the layout must keep the floor open, give me good natural light, and still leave room for shelves or fitted cabinets.
My brief is deliberately simple—nothing elaborate or ultra-modern—just a clean, straightforward structure that will pass planning first time. Standard insulation is fine; the main priority is meeting Ealing’s guidelines with the least friction.
What I would like from you:
• Scaled plans, elevations and a roof layout suitable for submission to Ealing Council
• A brief design statement that explains materials, appearance and compliance with permitted-development rules (or notes what needs full planning, if that ends up being the route)
• Any basic sections or construction notes the planner will expect, plus a PDF set I can email and a DWG for my builder
If you can also advise on any tweaks that make approval easier—height limits, boundary set-backs, drainage notes—please build that into the package. I’m ready to start as soon as we agree on the scope and time frame, and I’ll be responsive with measurements and photographs you need.
