ADU Garage Conversion Structural Drawings
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need detailed structural drawings for converting a single car garage into a two-story Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU). The existing garage has 2x4 exterior walls which seem to present a challenge. I would like to incorporate steel/ wood columns with a beam to disperse the load to avoid changing the exterior walls to 2x6 if possible.
