Seeking an engineer to do a rational analysis for a 120 sq ft porch at the back of our small home in Hollywood. It is required to change the original windows to hurricane proof.
There need to be signed/sealed structural plans showing the enclosed porch. Including wall details (connections to the top and bottom plate, strapping wall thickness, interior framing, insulation, and drywall).
