garage conversion
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I am looking for someone to help me with a garage conversion project for my home. The purpose of the conversion is to create additional living space.
The garage is an attached one and is currently accessible from inside the property. It opens to the side of the property via a door and also has a window to the same side. The existing garage door would need to be bricked up and a window placed in it.
The existing side window and door would need to be removed and a french double door placed in thier place.
The floor needs to be raised circa 230mm.
The access door needs to be replaced with a barn style sliding door to access the rest of the property.
I've gone through Trafford Council's guidelines for permitted development and I'm confident that this would fall under the scope of permitted development. I would still like to apply for an LDC and need someone to prepare the application to apply for LDC.
I've attached pictures of the garage from indoors and outside. I've also attached full plans for the house when it there was a different extension done in 2013.
