Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
workshop/garage plans drawn up and approved by Thorold city . The building is to be 24' by 30' by 14'9 max at the highest peak of the roof. It must also be designed to meet Thorold city bylaws for wind, rain and snow specs. Could be a metal structure or a wood structure. It is to be anchored on a 6" concrete pad , preferably 1 foot bigger than the building,( or more if the bylaws dictate it.) The base will be stone as per bylaw requirement.
I may want to put in a crane at some point, so I need the roof trusses to be designed to give me maximum height. If I build it to the specs above, I will not need a variance/zone application, therefore the project can start asap. Regarding doors, there will be a 14' wide by 12' high folding door at the front, which will be the 24' wall ( the east side ), with a 3' x 7' mandoor on the left side wall ( the south facing side.)
