Vermont 2 story home plus attic

My project is to build a two story home plus an attic in Vermont. The desired square footage is around 8,000 with 7 bedrooms; one on the bottom floor and six on the top floor. I am looking for basic amenities in the home such as energy-efficient appliances, a large kitchen, ample living space, and a home office.
