Barn house with L or U shaped loft built from beams with an exposed ceiling below, gulum beams.
Ground floor will be modified.
Garage door removed and replaced by large French doors with stationary glass. Unless they make a glass roll up door built for Minnesota winters.,
Barn style sliding wood door covering the new front door modification.
Entering on the left of the garage door you will walk inside into a closed off utility room with all necessary pumps, tanks, etc. A pocket door will open up the open area of the barn near current garage door. Walking forward to the left will be a french or sliding glass door (under the loft walkway) facing the shipping container (Conteiner office building that sits to the left of the barn ). Going forward still To the left of the side access door will be another enclosed (under loft) bathroom which will have two points on entry. 1 entry point will come from the open area of barn accessible from living room/kitchen.
The 2nd bathroom entrance/exit will lead to a hallway with cupboards and finally into the laundry room/mud room area. This will have an exit/access point to outside the home from the back left door which is currently there. and a second pocket door that opens up to the open kitchen/living/dining room area. The kitchen and and dining area will be under the lofted area.
The right side of the barn will have the staircase leading up to the loft . That right side of the barn will only have a partial walkway and staircase leading to the loft.,(picture of examples)
The loft will be accessed by stairs on the right side of the barn. On the top of the stairs will be an open area, bathroom in between the windows. A bedroom on the far left and a walk way to the second bedroom located above the entrance door and utility room.
