Thai Lanna Wooden House Architectural Draftsman Required
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I am looking for an architectural draftsman with good previous experience and knowledge of Thai Lanna wooden house design.
Initially required to produce floor plans and elevation drawings only.
The ability to produce full specification blueprint builders' drawings package with Thai notes and details at a later stage will be highly regarded.
Must be able to provide previous client recommendations.
The ability to speak, read and write Thai will be a distinct advantage.
The house design will be double storey, with a tin roof.
The entrance stairs and front balcony to the house will be north facing.
The upper level will include an outdoor seating area, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, study room, and storage room.
The ground floor level will include a kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom.
The rest of the ground floor are will be open and the house structure will be supported on 2.4 metre columns.
The design should minimize plumbing runs.
Another building that will not need to be wood will contain a carport, utility room for washing machine, gym room, and storage room.
The quality of the result and the thought put into the form and function of the design are more important than the speed of delivery.
The draftsman should have a passion for wooden houses in the traditional Thai style.
